Roberta Phillips, 96, Robinson, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 19, 2015. She was residing at Heritage Health Therapy, Robinson, IL.
Roberta was born on November 30, 1919 in Jasper County, IL near Willow Hill and was the daughter of Adolphus Maxwell and Nora (Dillman) Maxwell. On November 25, 1938 she married Bro. Robert L. “Bob” Phillips, who proceeded her in death on June 22, 1996.
Roberta was a homemaker and member of the Oblong First Baptist Church for many years.
Roberta is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Larry and Becky Phillips of Powder Springs, GA; a granddaughter Jennifer (Phillips) and husband David May of Marietta, GA; two great-grandchildren Jason May and Emily May both of Marietta, GA; a niece; four nephews and a sister-in-law Virginia Phillips of Hunt City, IL.
Preceding Roberta in death were her parents; husband; grandson Jason Phillips; brother Otis Maxwell and a infant brother and sister and a sister-in-law Mary Baughman.
